LAMB OF GOD: New Album To Feature Guest Appearances From CHRIS POLAND, ALEX SKOLNICK

Former MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland and ex-TESTAMENT/SAVATAGE axeman Alex Skolnick will be making guest appearances on the forthcoming LAMB OF GOD album, "Ashes of the Wake". Commented Poland: "This is MEGADETH for the New Millennium." Added Skolnick: "LAMB OF GOD is a breath of fresh air that stands head and shoulders above all the cookie cutter bands out there."

The follow-up to 2003's "As the Palaces Burn" is currently being recorded in the band's hometown of Richmond, VA with producer Machine (WHITE ZOMBIE, (HED)P.E., PITCHSHIFTER, ONE MINUTE SILENCE) and is tentatively set for a late summer release through Epic Records. "Ashes of the Wake" is the third full-length studio release from LAMB OF GOD. A video "sneak peek" of the band in the studio has been posted online at the Epic Records web site at this location. LAMB OF GOD along with HATEBREED and SLIPKNOT, are set as the only non-rotating bands on the Ozzfest 2004 second stage.
